If you’ve attended a Pendragon concert, you’ve probably never heard better sound, and the same is true for Pendragon albums, whether recorded in the 1970s or today.

Pendragon is the audio division of Mongoose Works, Ltd. Established in 1976 in Fort Collins, Colorado as a recording studio dedicated to the ne plus ultra of sound quality, Pendragon initially provided in-studio and on-location live recording services for all genres of music, from classical to the extreme avant-garde, from garage bands to internationally acclaimed artists. In 1978 Pendragon expanded into sound reinforcement, and by 1980, became the dominant player in Northern Colorado, providing festival sound to audiences larger than 75,000.

As its founder’s career transitioned from high-performance computing in Fort Collins, to high-end defense and intelligence processing in Denver, Pendragon focused increasingly on special projects beyond the capabilities of other companies. We are currently upgrading our facilities to include a performance-grade sound stage and auditioning room, as we approach our 50th year anniversary.
